University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB) is one of the most important Romanian Universities, organized in 15 Faculties and 59 Departments from the educational point of view, but also with high competence in diverse fields of research. UPB aims to promote, at national and international level, technological and scientifically areas of research that include: sensors and new remote sensing systems, processing of the remotely sensed data, data mining and spatial information processing and remote sensing applications.
