On the 2nd of April PRYSTINE project management team (PMT) met at the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom). During this meeting, PMT members internally discussed the progress of the project on the Supply Chain and Work Package level. One key subject of discussion was the preparation for the first review: available demonstrators that could be shown and presentation of the project’s progress up to date were discussed.
On the 3rd of April the 1st yearly project plenary meeting was organized in cooperation with TTS and took place in Traficom and TTS premises. The meeting gathered project’s management team (PMT members) together with all project partners to familiarize everyone with the PRYSTINE vision and expected outcomes, project progress, and current stage of the project. The meeting was opened by core team leader Prof. Dr. Eng. George Dimitrakopoulos with his brief presentation of the Project vision, objectives and methods, and how the project is organized to achieve its goals. The meeting continued with Supply Chains’ and Work Packages’ presentations of achieved results, deliverables and milestones in the first year. Furthermore, partners presented a glimpse into the near future plans and activities for upcoming 2020-2021. After fruitful discussions, all participants were taken to TTS premises for a simulator center visit. While there, partners had the chance to try their skills of driving a bus and a truck in the simulator.
The last day of the meeting, the 4th of April, was dedicated to two sessions of parallel technical Supply Chains and Work Packages meetings.
